Working from home hasn’t stopped us from continuing to make magic. We’re still tackling big problems, staying connected, and having fun together, too.
*varies by country of employment
To empower everyone at Dolby to be co-creators of change, we look at ourselves and what we need to do to evolve our culture.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can do their best work. Different backgrounds, perspectives, and beliefs add critical value to our business and enhance our ability to imagine, innovate, and grow.
Through our Dolby Cares program, employees from our offices in 20+ countries volunteer as individuals, as part of a work team, or through our diversity and inclusion employee networks. From tutoring youth and mentoring adults re-entering the workforce, to delivering meals to seniors or providing legal services through our legal pro bono program, our employees are making our communities stronger.
What we do and how we work matters, and that is why we continue to invest in our local communities and respect our environment by reducing our emissions. Environmental sustainability remains a top priority for Dolby, and we are strengthening our initiatives to combat climate change and its devastating impacts on people, communities, and our Earth.

Flex Work @ Dolby is our way of being intentional about how we do our best work.
We believe in enabling remote work, while still harnessing the magic of coming together in-person for collaboration, connection, and community. When COVID subsides, we expect most employees will be in the office more than zero days a week and less than five days a week. Because the future can be uncertain, we encourage our employees to experiment, iterate, and adapt Flex Work to their work and needs.

“Working at Dolby was my dream from the moment I found an internship offer on Linkedin – it connected my analytical skills, programming and interest in audio and music. People surrounding me from the first moment were very supportive and willing to share knowledge, but also trusted in my ability to solve problems. Working on several projects, and with international teams, gave me an opportunity to learn and grow rapidly. Now, I still learn a lot at work, but I can also be a buddy to others, engage in different initiatives and be an active member of the Dolby Poland community.”

“My favorite part of my internship at Dolby was that I was treated as a full-time engineer from day 1. I was allowed to pick-up tickets like a full-time engineer would, and it allowed me to get my hands on a lot of different projects. I could work on testing, and allowed to work documentation, and code, so I got a lot of exposure which kind of taught me what I was interested in and move into my career.”
